Fenty Beauty is a renowned make-up empire built by the one and only Rihanna. What makes Fenty Beauty distinct from other makeup brands is their ability to suit all skin types. For me this is quite important as I struggle to find lipsticks due to my lip hyperpigmentation which is where the top lip is darker than the bottom lip or, when the surrounding lip area is dark compared to the middle. In my experience, shopping for lipsticks is a huge task as how they look online is not how they appear on me. I have tried applying foundation underneath my lipstick to create an even base but this idea is only half as good as it actually seems because, when I have to reapply my lipstick throughout the day I don't carry a bottle of foundation in my bag. Also, to overcome the unevenness of my lip colour I do apply lip liner all over my lips prior to the lipstick application however some lipsticks are just not opaque enough.

One thing you should know about me is I love red lipsticks as I feel as though this colour suits me the best. When you don't want to wear too much make-up but still want to look as if you have put in a lot of effort, red is a go- to colour. You can step out in a Nike tracksuit with red lipstick and look as if it took you ten years to get ready (bit of an exaggeration). So, when I first heard of Rihanna's red Fenty Stunna Lip Paint, Longwear Fluid Lip Colour in the shade 'Uncensored', I got really excited and knew this was going to be my first Fenty purchase.

What the Stunna Lip Paint claims:

  • Intense

  • Longevity

  • Matte finish

  • Weightless

  • Soft

  • No immediate feathering

So does it fulfil my red lipstick dreams?

  • This colour is honestly super intense! It is deep, bright and bold! I pair it with a cheap red lip liner and honestly this formula covers my lips like a dream. It is S U P E R pigmented and the colour is so beautiful. This is the best cool-toned red colour I have ever owned and because of the pigment it would look beautiful on all skin types. I always manage to receive compliments every time I wear the stunna lip paint.

  • Don't get me wrong, compared to a lipstick or other cheaper liquid lipsticks I have used, this does have some sort of staying power but it does unfortunately transfer. After I eat it transfers on my chin, it transfers whilst kissing, it transfers when you smoke a zoot and it transfers onto other people's clothing when you accidentally knock your face against their shoulder when going in for a hug... so please keep this in mind when you are carrying out these activities.

  • The liquid lip is super matte without the drying effect. Some matte lipsticks can start to become crusty towards the end of the day but this one continuously looks beautiful. I must admit I do apply Vaseline Petroleum Jelly before any type of liquid lip application but not too much just incase the lipstick comes off but enough to make sure my lips are moisturised. Even with the shiny lip balm underneath the lipstick provides you with a beautiful matte coverage.

  • The lipstick is definitely weightless as it feels like nothing is on my lips. When you rub your lips together you can also feel the softness of the liquid lipstick. To ensure your lips are super soft use a lip sugar scrub before applying any type of matte lipstick.

  • The lipstick has no feathering whatsoever and because of the precision of the wand you don't necessarily need a lip liner but a lip liner is useful just to ensure no feathering occurs.

  • Additionally, I just wanted to add that the product has 4ml of liquid which is enough to last you a long time. I have had mine for over a year which is probably disgusting but I will continue to use it until it dries out. Bare in mind, a little goes a long way. Before I apply the liquid lip I scrape some of the product off the doe foot applicator. If you apply too much product it can feel a bit icky and thick so you only need a thin layer.

  • For the quality and quantity of the product it soo affordable at only £20!

The only kritique I have for this product is the fact that it transfers as it can get a bit annoying. Other than that I give this product a...

Kritique rating: 4.8/5.
