If you don’t like Charlotte Tilbury’s products you probably won’t like my blog. I’m literally obsessed with her makeup and skin care line as she produces the most beautiful and high quality products. If I were to create my own makeup line it would literally look the same as Charlotte’s. What I love about Charlotte Tilbury is how her makeup enhances natural beauty and you can play around and create both night and day time looks that look classy and stunning.
Today I will be reviewing the Charlotte Tilbury Film Star Bronze and Glow in the shade light to medium. The palette features both a highlighting and contour shade. What originally made me want to purchase this palette was an old article by Cosmopolitan which discusses makeup products the Kardashians use ( https://www.cosmopolitan.com/uk/beauty-hair/celebrity-hair-makeup/g23889701/kardashian-makeup-products/ ) Turns out that Kourtney Kardashian uses the Bronze and Glow palette to contour and I love Kourtney’s natural makeup look.

(Me- wearing the light to medium highlight and bronzer.)
Pros
It’s absolutely stunning!!! You can create such a natural yet beautifully chiselled look.
The highlight is not heavy so you can’t go over board with it. When the light hits your face the highlight gleams in all the right places.
The contour shade is the perfect colour. I think this is from a very biased point of view as I love red/ orange makeup tones and this contour shade definitely has warm undertones. I’m always afraid if a contour will be ashy or chalky but this one is definitely not.
Because the powders are subtle, they are easily buildable. Sometimes, because I love this palette so much I just end up slapping shit loads on but for some reason I don’t look like a clown.
I definitely think the shades are universally flattering which is probably why Charlotte only has two shades (light to medium and medium to dark.)
You can see the quality of the product in the formula. It definitely creates an even bronze as I’ve had experience with cheap contours that create a patchy and unflattering coverage.
It lasts all day long even without a setting spray!
The packaging is a very pretty rose gold palette and has a convenient mirror inside.
Cons
It is a bit expensive at £49 but there is a lot of product inside and the quality is amazing. You will probably get your money’s worth if you have a look at the magical savings section on Charlotte’s website where you can get products sold as kits at a discounted price. Some kits feature the bronzer with other products at a good sale price.
Kritique Rating: 5/5.
