I was honoured to be gifted this aesthetically pleasing eyeshadow palette by one of my best friends, Rianna. This palette has been raved about due to its unique iridescent glitter shadows. The palette features 18 shades which I have swatched on my arm for you below. Now a days the shade nude has many different connotations and is not related to any particular colour. This palette features a range of nudes so there should be a colour to suit everyone.

Here are swatches from the left side of the palette. I would say these shades are perfect for a day time look.

These swatches were taken from the right side of the palette. These shades are perfect for a night time look or if you prefer warmer toned shadows.

In order to test the shadows out I decided to create a day time look. I used the concealer shade for the base which I didn’t like so I replaced it with my own concealer. I then added the concealer shade on top of this then the shade bare to create a canvas. I placed the shade Teddy all over the lid and the shade Raw into the outer lid and crease. I used my finger to place the shade Daydream on to the inner corner, sweeping outwards towards the middle of the lid.

Pros

  • There are a variety of ‘nude’ shades to choose from. You can create many different looks using this palette ranging from day to night and warm to cold. The palette features pinks, beige, purple and red tones.

  • The formula has an amazing longevity and lasted the whole day!

  • You can see the quality of the formula through the texture of the powders. Unlike cheap eyeshadow palettes, the shadows have a buttery and soft touch to them. It’s unlike anything I have used before.

  • All shadows are highly pigmented even the lightest of colours.

  • The shadows blend out beautifully and seamlessly so if you’re rubbish at applying eyeshadow you won’t be able to tell if you use this palette. Whatever colours you decide to throw on your face it will look like a professional has done it.

  • The iridescent powders are super unique and aesthetically pleasing!

  • There are three different glitter textures to choose from. You have the four reflective glitters, two glitter shadows and one pressed pearl. All of these are super pigmented and are beautiful. You will struggle to choose which one to wear.

  • The shadows are fragrance free for my sensitive skin readers.

Cons

  • Huda does state that this palette is universally flattering due to the highly pigmented shadows however, I couldn’t say the same for the concealer shade. This shade in the palette is the only one with a creamy, concealer like consistency. This concealer is for applying all over the lid before shadow application in order to achieve an opaque and light canvas for the shadow colours to pop. I must say this concealer shade was just too light. I rather use my normal concealer than the nude’s palette one. The texture of the concealer shade was quite thin so it was a bit patchy and you can see my skin colour seep through the concealer thus, it wasn’t as pigmented as I hoped. Because I wanted to review this palette properly I decided to apply my concealer then apply the concealer shade on top. Even though I applied my own concealer underneath the palette’s concealer shade, I found this colour still way too light. Next time I would just completely avoid using this shade.

  • The palette does create a bit of fall out when you dip your brush into the powders. This many not bother many people but some of the powders did fall into the concealer shade.

  • I did expect some brown tones in the palette as I feel like this is a more of a pink palette rather than a nude? Let me know what you think.

  • It’s an expensive purchase at £56 but well worth it if you love eyeshadow!
