I thought I would share my no makeup- makeup look with my beautiful readers. I will break down each product for you and how I achieve a dewy look that is natural and everyday wearable. I believe this makeup look is easily achievable and would suit anyone which is why I've been so desperate to show you! Please note in no way am I a MUA (far from it actually, I don't know how to play with fancy eyeshadows) but I just wanted to share with you guys a simple makeup look that will make you feel and look good! I must note that I do highly recommend you purchase the same products or maybe similar alternatives in order to achieve the same look as the power of this everyday look is behind the products.
Base
After having applied my morning skin care routine which consists of a good moisturiser and a SPF, I start off with my Chanel Vitalumière Satin Smoothing Fluid foundation in the shade 30 Cendré and apply this with my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. In my life I have tried and tested many foundations across a range of brands but this Chanel foundation has just stuck with me. I refuse to let it go. I would certainly never cheat on my beloved Chanel (unless you want me to test out other foundations) 'till death do us part'. This foundation is weightless and super dewy. It resembles your natural skin which is my kind of makeup whilst giving you medium coverage. The foundation is versatile as you can apply multiple layers until you get the desired coverage which is great for every occasion. This foundation in comparison to other ones I have tried provides a more flawless coverage. It does not emphasise bumps on your skin that you never knew you had or seep into dry patches rather, it smoothes over the skin leaving a perfect finish. Also, this foundation is honestly weightless. You cannot feel it on your skin whatsoever. For dry skin people they would adore this foundation but for those who have oily skin you may want to use a matte primer or a light, translucent setting powder to set oily spots on the face. Do not use powder across the whole of the face because you will lose the gorgeous dewy finish created by the foundation. Just use it on the oiliest bits only. The lasting power on the Vitalumière is crazy. I can literally go through a whole 7 hour shift at work and it will still be on my face when I return home. I just love this foundation so much and after having tried many foundations this honestly tops all of them by far. People who like super matte or full coverage foundations may not like this foundation and that is not really my choice of makeup however, for the no makeup- makeup look this foundation is perfect.

Brows
I know eyebrow makeup is involved in a controversial subject- do you do your brows before or after your foundation? But I like to do my brows after my foundation. For those who are saying wtf, I'll tell you why. When I do my brows and brush them out, some of the pencil can smear onto the forehead and under the brows which makes it look messy, especially after I use eyebrow gel it slightly smudges the pencil about. Because I have just applied my foundation it hasn't fully set onto my face. I use my finger to wipe on top of the brows and under the brows and the foundation wipes away the pencil smudges. Some of you may question why I don't just use a concealer to neaten up the brows but this is a no makeup- makeup look and the less product the better. For my brows I use the Benefit Goof Proof Pencil in the shade 5 Deep. I lightly underline the bottom of my brows and the corners to make them appear more rounded. I then use the spoolie on the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pencil to brush the product into the brows. The Goof proof brow pencil is perfect for creating natural looking brows as the product does not come out harshly. The pencil is not too creamy or too hard but blends out beautifully. Sometimes when you blend out pencils they can blend out too much and lose the definition of the lines you have just drawn however, this pencil does not do that. The tip of the pencil is super precise so it is great for drawing hair like strokes. I own the mini version and it has lasted me over a year! I use this pencil nearly everyday (I know even I can't believe it).

Brows continued
I then apply Barry M eyebrow gel in the shade clear. I use to swear by this gel but it has its days. Sometimes it holds the brows up all day and sometimes by the end of a work shift the bottom hairs are falling downwards. What I like about this gel is the natural definition it creates. It highlights the natural hair strands in the brows which contributes to the no makeup look. The holding power isn't that great so if anyone knows a better eyebrow gel please let me know.

Eyes
It is so crucial that you use the lashes suggested in order to achieve a beautiful no makeup look. As a strip lash girl I have tried so many lashes throughout my life and I think I have finally finished my journey. So, my natural lashes are quite sparse and straight so I have always invested money into finding everyday wearable lashes. I have finally settled on two pairs. One is Superdrug's own brand lashes called EYELASHES Extra Volume 404 Fasion Lashes. These lashes are the ones I wear to work. They are short but have loads of volume which appear as if you have had eyelash extensions. The second pair of lashes I would wear on a normal day are Kiss Lash Couture Naked Drama Collection in the style Lacey. These lashes are super soft and are wispy. Both lashes feather outwards towards the end which elongates your eyes making them look flattering. Both lashes have the perfect amount of volume that don't look too natural or too fake.

Applying the lashes
I swear by the DUO Quick-Set Strip Eyelash Glue in Dark. The glue only takes 10 seconds to dry which is great for when you are in a rush but you must be quick when applying. The dark colour hides any imperfections and acts like an eyeliner. I don't opt for the translucent ones as they are not really translucent and you can always see the residue on your eyes. If you were to wear this glue on the Rita ride in Alton Towers best believe your lashes will still be stuck on to your eyes at the end of the ride. The only trouble people would have with this glue is its amazing staying power. The glue is hard to get off so you must use a mild facial scrub or The Body Shop Soap I spoke about in a recent post. I have so much faith in the glue that I never really carry it around in my bag because I know it will keep my lashes on all day. If you would like me to write an in depth blog about how I apply strip lashes including how to apply them underneath the lashes, leave a comment or feel free to DM me on my Instagram page.

And that's it for the no makeup- makeup routine! I sometimes apply setting spray depending on the occasion but some events are not worth it. The occasion also depends on which lipstick I wear or if I even wear one. If I am popping to the shops or if I am staying at home I just wear Vaseline alone.
I hope you enjoyed reading this blog. Let me know if you tried this look on my Instagram!
